Question : Fireplace repair?
My wood-burning fireplace has a door held in place on the inside wall with metal brackets. The screw on one side keeps coming out, as the hole has worn larger.

What can I use to fix (anchor) this, that will stay in place?

Get some Loktite at the hardware store put it on the screw and screw it in carefully so that it is just tight…don’t overtighten to the point of slippage. Red is good for hi-temp.
