At work we have a Hobart lxi dishwasher we don’t use because it produces water spots and there is no way to install a water softener in the restaurant. Is there anything else we can do?

1. Are you using the cartridge that reduces lime and other impurities?
With a Hobart, that is essential.
2. Is the filter clean?
Even more essential.
3. Are the blower and heat exchange unit properly timed?
Very important if both the other answers are yes.
4. Is your unit under-powered?
A big mistake, often made, when installed.
Write to me, if these questions cannot be answered. I’ll be glad to help. There are other issues I did not address, that may prove to be correct. I listed the above, simply because, they are most common issues.
We have well water and I use the Cascade citrus power packs and 1/4 cup vinegar. I realize this is a residential dishwasher but try using vinegar with the detergent. Or, after the rinse cycle, towel dry. (Yuck).
