I have seen them at the paint your own pottery places. They are ceramic and you can personalize them by painting them. They were $ 10/each here in CA.

I would use small galvanized metal tubs. Look at Joann Fabrics, Michael’s Crafts or Pat Catan Crafts.

i like the galvanized pail/tubs idea – you can purchase these on line as well at http://www.galvanizedpail.com/ they have lots of different sizes and shapes.

Have fun, they will turn out cute no matter wether you use tins, bathtubs, or baskets
