Question : Are commercial vacuum cleaners available for home use?
I am currently looking for a new vacuum cleaner. The old one I’ve had is falling apart and its being held together by a shoulder strap and duct tape. I am currently looking for a commercial upright or backpack vacuum cleaner but I’m not sure if they are meant for home use. Can you help me out here?

Sure why not. If you can find a store that sells one. I’d check in the yellow pages for commercial cleaning supplies.

Expect to pay a significant premium. It will not have more suction. The plastic bits will be replaced by metal and it will have a longer cord.
