If you take the time to talk to any professional Hardwood Floor people they will tell you NOT to use Murphy’s oil soap or ANY soap of any kind on your hardwood. I have been using this product for years and it was suggested to me by the hardwood installers that installed my floors. Given they have nothing to gain by suggesting this product I didn’t hesitate to try it. They are right. I buy it by the gallon and Amazon so far, has the best price. Don’t hesitate to use this product if you want to maintain your hardwood properly and keep it looking great. -

We have polyurethane finished hardwood floors in our kitchen, dining and living areas. We also have a 2 year old grandson and a dog in our house (need I say more). BonaKemi hardwood floor cleaner is fantastic for spot cleaning and for regular upkeep. It always makes the floors look like they were just professionally done, and it’s so easy to use. Believe me I have tried many other products, including the most popular, but now I couldn’t clean without my BonaKemi. It truly outshines all the rest! -

The previous owner of our 2-year old house recommended Bona for our hardwood floors. I had never heard of this brand until she told me about it. In my old house I had always used the types of wood floor cleaners you get in grocery stores, such as Murphy’s Oil, Orange Glo, etc. I always had to use a lot of elbow grease to get the stubborn dirt up using these products, and the finish ended up looking a little dull, too. If you’ve ever had a big dog, you’ll know that dog drool is one of the hardest things to get off a surface. Bona is probably the best cleaner I’ve used so far for hardwoods and getting the spots of dried dog drool off that I missed when they were wet! It won’t dull your floors and really does get the ground in dirt out with less toil. I use the spray bottle as well. -

Excellent product. When I decided to remove my carpet and install wood flooring, I researched all types of wood flooring and the products. I installed solid wood myself and had a professional wood sanding guy come to sand and finish the floor. After the research, I insisted that the wood guy who would finish the floor had to use Bona Kemi Traffic for the floor. The wood guy told me he does not use anything else. I was VERY VERY pleased with the Bona Kemi product. When the finish got a little dull, I used the Bona X Floor Cleaner. It works GREAT!!! No residue, no bad smell. Just wiped it on and used a dry dust pad to wipe it. I think this product is more suited for solid wood floors instead of flooring that is pre-manufactured or laminated with a 1/8 inch shiny surface. This product actually penetrates the surface and brings out the shine. Because of this penetration, my floor has never been left slippery or with a weird “fog” or residue. If you have laminate flooring or pergo, Bona Kemi has another product for those. It is called Bona Hard Surface. -

I only had the wood floors for about 2 years and they looked like they were over 10 years old. Finish was very dull and looked worn. I had someone come and refinish it for me and he told me that I was actually stripping the finish off when I was using the “wood floor cleaners” products that I would buy at the store. He recommended to me that I use the Bona-X and nothing else and I would see a big difference. It has been almost 5 years now and my floors still look like he just refinish them. You need to use the microfiber mop cover which they call it the micro-plus cover on the amazon. I’m sure if you go on the internet, you will find the mop to use this. I highly recommend this product. I got a spray bottle and just refill it that way as it is easier and lighter to carry and it doesn’t take much to do your floors. Never leaves it dull anymore and it really does a great job cleaning dirt off. Amazon got a good price for this product.
