There are two relatively new and very popular methods to get rid of termites, you can choose, or Sentricon Termidor. Which termite prevention treatment works best? Read this article to find out what is best for you.

Termites are a serious problem for homeowners. An infestation can be treated thousands of dollars and potentially knock tens of thousands of dollars from the resale value of your home at a time when market prices are already suffering.

There is absolutely no surprise that people are increasingly more interested in it to prevent termite problems are before they began to receive. There are two popular ways to sell to prevent termites in those days, and Sentricon Termidor, and they work very differently.

Termidor works by a different method, called the barrier method. With the barrier method, the ground is around the perimeter of the house designed with a chemical saturated to ward off the termites. In theory, this prevents from ever termites to your house.

Problems can arise when it is not possible to thoroughly saturate the area. Houses built on solid foundation, for example, can difficult to treat. If the soil is not saturated, then there are areas where the termites can get to your house.

The treatment is also quite expensive, much more expensive than the original Sentricon treatments, and it is not nearly as green as the bait method. It is an improvement over the tents method, and most providers give you a seven-year warranty on the system.

So which is better? Frankly, it’s a difficult question to answer. Sentricon is probably better for the treatment of an existing colony, which, if you could already termites, this is the best method for you if you already means a problem.

On the other hand, Termidor is definitely better when it works, for the leadership for the termites to your house ever. But it is not necessarily the best choice for someone with an existing termite problem.
