By the time I actually got to intalling a ceiling fan I purchased like four years ago…I had lost the manual to a Westinghouse Casanova II Ceiling Fan. I looked online for it and of course the company does not have them available at their website. There is pretty much no customer support. I installed it and the motor sounds like crap even when the blades speed up. teh wiring was done just like the expert here did so I dont think that’s the problem

If any of this looked right to you, lock up your tool shed or keep the local fire department on your speed dial. You people will burn your house down with this video, nothing done in here is to NEC code. never mount a bracket straight to the ceiling. never mount a ceiling fan to a light box. call in a professional electrician.
We already have an electrical fire every 38 seconds in this nation & 53% are cause by the home owner from doing this type of butchering hack work in the home.

No Junction Box?
NEC CODE requires a fan support “rated” for ceiling fans.
No Experienced electrician twist wires with his fingers.
BAD ADVICE FROM EXPERT VILLAGE!!
