Apple cider vinegar is safe to use on furniture?
I’ve heard that you get rid of dog fleas with vinegar, but I wonder if it’s my sofa and other furniture may be damaged. I am planning to spray my dog with a mixture of water and vinegar, but I also need to get rid of fleas in my bed, the bed and the carpets in the bathroom. Vacuuming is not enough to kill fleas, and I need help!

Apple cider vinegar, sprayed on your furniture may or may not damage it but it WILL make your home smell like a pickle factory. It won’t get rid of the fleas, either. That’s just an old story.

I wouldn’t use apple cider vinegar as it might cause slight staining, try using white vinegar(it is great for getting out pet stains), never heard that it gets rid of fleas, Please update on how it works for flea extermination. Good luck.

Go to a pet store or grocery store and get bombs that are specifically for fleas. You’ll need to bomb your house a couple of times, two weeks apart. READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS ON THE CAN SO YOU DON’T POISON YOURSELF, YOUR ANIMALS OR FISH.
Ask your vet about Comfortis. It’s a monthly pill that is very effective but kind of expensive.
