Ear Candles (Part 2)
True or bs? Do you think the result is the real deal or just a chemical reaction? The argument for a long time running. . .

I am a bit skeptical. I have heard of another method where you take cheese cloth and use the eraser end of a pencil to put it as far as it will go into the canal. Pull the pencil out while leaving the cheese cloth in place. Then you burn a candle and let the wax go inside the cheesecloth. They claim that you can hear better after that also that you ears are a bit more sensitive to the cold so don’t do it unless you are staying indoors for awhile.

They don’t suck the wax out of your ear, its the smoke going into your ear canal that softens and loosens the wax. That’s why they work. The residue in the candle is from the candle wax. People get confused….The wax comes out of your ear naturally over the next few days after it softens from the smoke.
