WOW! Some of you need to check your facts before making such hateful and negative comments! Ms. Parker was trained in singing , acting and ballet starting as a child! She was in “The Innocents” and “The Sound of Music” on Broadway before her lead role in “Annie” also on Broadway. She was “Annie” for over a year! She starred in many movies, t.v. shows and plays (both on Broadway and off) long before the fame of “Sex and The City” and Carrie Bradshaw.

I wouldn’t mind the pedestrian singing so much if her comic timing and stage presence were great, but it’s just not there for me; that’s really what makes the role of Winnifred. But I suppose we all have to give Sarah Jessica Parker a break especially since she’s being compared with the great Carol Burnett.
