Gerber Gator Machete Jr. a Survival Podcast Review
This video is a review of the Gerber Gator Machete Gerber Jr. knife. If you are interested to buy this Machete consider it at this link TinyURL. com I like this tool and would like to say a few things I agree with other reviews in both the Gator Jr. and the larger Gator Machete with regard to some negative opinions of others I have not seen. I bring this up to see the notes, because I never opinions of others before my own to keep my tests and my own views. I think the first major machete gets a lot of complaints for being too scanty is. I cannot comment because I have used only the juniors. I think the problem is not a problem with the young, because the shorter blade is naturally more rigid. Second, the complaints about the saw is useless without foundation, as shown in my video. The problem is that people are comparing the blade a pruning saw, those teeth would machete almost impossible to pull the tool out of the vagina. The pattern is typical of a cross cut saw, and when used with the right technology of conifers (not too much pressure) is very good cut on live white oak, a very tuff wood. Third, I also think a large part of the review for this tool compares them with tools that cost five times. This is like a Ford compared to a Ferrari, the Ford is a great car, doing a great job, but is not expected to perform like a Ferrari. I also found many of the guests just do not know really what a . . . B>

To start I just picked the GATOR jr.over the weekend and love it it is a grate tool…
Now on to johnnycal161616. you can do pretty much what you want to do on your land in any state you can clear cut if you want. But no you can’t and shouldn’t cut down live trees if there is no need to do so.

@JohnnyCAl161616 – Yes remotely from the bug out location, my bug out location. Property I own in a remote area of Arkansas.

I didnt know that was your own property. It sounded like you said “videoing remotely today from the bug out location”.
The machete made quick work of that oak!

@JohnnyCAl161616 – I am not buying that one! If you mean on public property most states have that same law. Now on your own property you can’t cut down a tree? B.S.! Really? How are houses and roads built if you can’t cut down a tree?

the best thing about a tree is what you make out of it after you cut it down
about 1 month ago
@biohax Because this tree is growing a bad spot in my driveway, it obscures vision when we are backing large vehicles and trailers in and out of the drive way. You are clearly an idiot by the way to worry that I cut a tree down on MY PROPERTY. Why don’t you go back to what ever bush hippie nonsense you typically engage in.
As I stated in the video the tree was removed in the past and these portions continue to cospice and regrow. The up shot is renewable high quality cooking wood.

@survivalpodcasting Agreed,,it does flex a little,,the blade seems to only go past the bolts a little making it a half tang,, but for the money it is a useful bit of kit and the saw I find to be damn handy !

we have used those around our homestead, don’t buy “cheaper then dirt,” they are cheap & don’t cut worth a hill of beans.
Hay Jack, where is your “other” side arm?
