Olefin Berber carpets respond well to steam cleaning but the drawback is that the cleaning solution tends to slide down the fiber shaft into the backing since it does not get absorbed by the carpet. As a result, drying time on olefin Berber is often much longer than nylon cut-pile. If you have olefin Berber it doesn’t matter how much you clean it, you are going to be left with stains.
Nylon Berber carpet still dominates the market and always will. Nylon is soil- and mildew-resistant, resilient and non-allergenic. Nylon Berber is moderately priced and holds up well to wear being harder than olefin but it also stains easier than olefin. Nylon is a good choice for all traffic areas because it is durable and maintains fiber height, and resists soiling, staining, and mildew. When a water-based cleaning solution is applied to nylon carpet, some of the solution is absorbed into fibers, while the rest flows toward the backing due to pressure and gravitational forces. Knowing how to clean Berber carpet will help your carpet last longer and you will be more satisfied with it. Because of the nature of nylon Berber you will find a low moisture or drier method of cleaning will get you the best results.
Wool is the only alternative to nylon carpet and holds a small percentage of the market due to cost and lifestyle factors. Wool is one of the most expensive carpet fibers and will last the longest. Wool naturally resists general soiling, crushing, and most stains, it wears well and dirt comes out easily with cleaning but because it retains the most moisture a dry method of cleaning will get the best results. The biggest concern to be aware of when cleaning wool is to ensure the pH level of the cleaning solution is neutral. A high pH solution will ruin wool carpeting slowly, but surely. This is important to know, because not only will a high pH rating ruin wool; but a high pH rating will void most warranties.

0There are more then 60 species of sunflowers. The sheer cheerfulness of each one of these sunny flowers will brighten any ones day. The sunflower to some represent peace, love and war and to others it is the symbol of a world free of nuclear weapons. They can be found in many different colors. Red, white, yellow or even multicolored. Yellow is a favorite of mine and too many people around the world that are looking to bring a little sunshine into their homes. Just a single one of these beautiful flowers in a room can make a home more friendly and inviting. Maybe it’s the way the flower looks like the sun. The head has the shape of the sun while the large petals are its rays. It is amazing to think that this flower can actually follow the movement of the sun or that its head has over a thousand little flowers joined together at the base and can produce up to 1,000 yummy seeds. These flowers are grown throughout the world and can reach maturity from 90-100 days. Have you ever taken a look at how long these flowers can grow? My mom had a couple planted in her garden and they where pretty tall. They can actually grow 1. 5 – 3. 5 m. That is almost 12 feet of happiness!
When it comes to updating the bedroom decor to a more loving and homey feel, sunflowers can do just that. I recently went looking through many floral duvet covers, and couldn’t come to find the right sunflower duvet. My mom was coming to visit and I needed the right bedding to make her feel at home. Unfortunately, bedding isn’t the same anymore. No longer can you find duvet covers with my favorite yellow sunflower. They can be found in just about any color and design except for that one lovely color. My bed is not complete without a duvet cover. Comforters look all out of place and can be pretty expensive when it comes to replacing them. So just getting the comforter instead of a duvet cover is absolutely out of the question. I will end up spending more for a comforter then buying a good quality duvet set.

My mom absolutely loved it and got the same one for herself. I love waking up to a more happy and homey feel, even when the outside of my home can be tough and not so happy.
