What vase height is good for wedding centerpieces?
I am having such a hard time figuring out what vase height should I get. I will be having a stargazer lily, 4 roses and bear grass satin wrapped and put into a vase with clear and pink gems on the bottom. Any suggestions?

Oh my gosh! My centerpieces used stargazers too! (They looked awesome!) We used a 2 foot tall vase, which was about 4 inches at the opening, and the arrangement sort of sat on the top. I wanted the centerpieces to be tall so that people would be able to see each other across the tables. We rented the vases. Look around at party/event rental places. They usually have stuff like this.

The centerpieces need to be short enough to allow eye contact with the person sitting across from each guest. This allows a flow of conversation. Or the vases need to be clear and tall enough to allow a clear view of that person.
The flowers you are using make a spectacular centerpiece and a truly WOW factor in tall vases. The centerpiece are tall enough to see from table to table and from the dance floor, very impressive focal view. I would go with the more elevated centerpiece – down size, unless you rent these vases, could be pricey to purchase.
Congrats and good luck with your choice.

Centerpieces shouldn’t be too tall, you want your guests to see they people they are sitting with… I’d say no more than a foot, flowers and all.
