I need help with wedding programs. I am getting married on saturday and I’m making wedding programs HELP?

I don’t know the songs that will be played during ceremony. Could I skip that part on the programs? I know the names of some of them like Cannon in D and unchained melody but some of them just say “traditional wedding march” and stuff. help thanks!

Well, a couple of the songs traditionally played at weddings are called “Wedding March.” If you’re not sure on some of the songs though, I would simply not mention any of the music. At this point, you’ve got to make it easier on yourself, not harder. Do the best you can do, and have a wonderful wedding! Best wishes!

I wouldn’t even list the music. There’s plenty of other stuff to go on the programs. No worries.

The content of the songs depends on the ceremony site. You can simply have someone sing love ballets if in a church. I came down the isle to Luther Vandross’ ” Here and Now.” I wanted Prince, “Diamonds and Pearls” but they said I couldn’t play his music in a church.

Yes you can skip that part on the programs. You can just put a musical selection on the program. Your guest does not have to know what song you have chosen. All they have to do is enjoy the ceremony. Congratulations.

I didn’t put anything down on my programs as far as music. I didn’t have a soloist. I didn’t know someone would sing for my ceremony till the day of.

I’m getting married on Saturday too! You can put whatever you like in your programs but I would either put all of the songs or none. If you want to include them, contact your ceremony musician and they should be able to tell you the correct names for the songs. I’m sure you wouldn’t be the first person to ask!

You can skip the songs, but you can also just say “traditional wedding march” even if there are more than one of them! Best Wishes!!

You can just say “Processional” and “Recessional” instead of listing the names of the songs. The programs are just used to get an idea of the order of things in the ceremony anyway.
