How do you tell if there are termites infesting your house?

OK, you can do a few simple tasks, to find out if you have termites. First around the areas that are suspicious to you just tap your finger around the area, if it sounds hollow you have something. Wait I’m not done. Second, go outside, and around the bottom of you house, around the base, where the wood meets the foundation, tap it with a hammers, or something like that, lightly though, if it sounds hollow, again you have something. Now last, you’ll need to crawl into your crawl space ( or if you have no crawl space into your basement ) look around on the inside of your foundation walls, if you see small little sawdust like tunnels leading up from the ground, then you have termites. These tunnels will look like gray or light brown, they will be around a moist or wet areas of your home. Since they about 90% water, they need a lot of water or moist areas. Some of your wood may look like tiny little snakes have crawled through the wood.
