The thing is, he wants me to install the carpet tiles over the existing glued down carpet with double faced tape. . . is he crazy, or have i just not ever heard of this? This is not a temporary fix either – this would be permanent.
pissy old lady: yes i told him the right way is to rip up the old gluedown carpet, but he wants to save money – but he swears up and down its always done. never heard of it in my 11 years as an installer, lol. cheap guy.
