Can you use a dutch oven (cast iron pot) in a convection oven?
I have a Sharp convection microwave oven. When using in convection mode I know I can use metal, but is a dutch oven ok?
Just to elaborate, I’m not worried about using a cast iron pot in the oven, but using it for a long time. Like if making a stew which may require slow cooking for 2hrs.
Yep. It’s cast iron, it doesn’t care.
