vented and not vented gas logs?
can someone tell me the difference between ventilated and unventilated gas logs? I’m just not a vented gas log set in my home, there is something special to do?

Make sure you have a carbon monoxide detector in that area. Unvented appliance is similar to running you’re gas stove or oven all day long. They supposedly burn gas efficiently enough to not be vented. They have a safety feature known as an oxygen depletion sensor, fairly safe but no guarantees.
