Are you allowed to use space bags on flights?
I ask since airport security has to go through everything. If you can use them, how would security be able to check the items in the bags? Thanks!

Yes. You can. I have. No problems. If a space bag fits in a zipped-up suitcase, even if the air is released, technically it will all fit again. The inspector would probably crank the xrays up before deciding to actually open a sealed space bag.
(Space bags reduce volume of clothes by allowing air to be sucked out and the clothing compresses down to take up much less space).
