Why is it not advisable to wrap clothing or shoes in plastic when kept in storage? Would it harm the material?
I have a shoe collection that I’ve wrapped in bubble wraps and then placed in airtight shoebags. Please advise on how I could best maintain its condition.
You may trap moisture inside the plastic. Then there is a good chance for mold to grow.
A ceder chest would be good. Be sure to treat the leather on a regular basis to keep it in good condition.
