Has anyone heard of converting things like storage buildings into small homes?
Google searches havent produced much help to me.
I’m trying to be REALLY creative and come up with the absolutely cheapest way to build my own functional house 10′ by 12′ and bigger.
Does anyone have any ideas? No idea too small! Has anyone used Cob, cinder blocks, or anything like this to build a home, seen someone who had, or found any website with things about this? I don’t want to pay any more than $1000 to start with. Also I’m in Texas, a dry climate.
Thanks William B. Thats awesome!
The homeless around Henderson Nevada and, some in Vegas, we’re living in storage units and, washing, using the nearest gas stations for comfort zones.
This was all until we had a cold winter, the temps dropped to 18 and twenty above for days at a time. A lot of people were injured due to carbon monoxide from illegal heaters, small spaces. They Had frozen fingers and some got ill and passed on. There were a few fires.
Both cities stopped this method of shelter and, started fining owners. So, with this in mind, check with your local zoning board, you may have to meet certain codes for areas, sizes.
