Does the Linens & Things 30-60% off sale include the KitchenAid mixers?
In response to the consumerist: For a big brand such as KitchenAid, does that liquidation process really apply? The mixer I want is pretty much $300 everywhere. So getting 30% off of that would seem to be a good deal to me. . .

I would do a little research on prices before going to a going out of business sale. Often when a company is gong out of business, a liquidator buys all the remaining stock and sells it for the company that’s gong out of business. The liquidation company comes in and raises prices before discounting them. So, often you’ll end up spending more than you would at another retailer. Plus, if you buy at a liquidation sale, you cannot return it if there is a problem with it.
