You are absolutely amazing, especially if you can find in good shape. A friend of mine recently installed a â?? 4 OA? Clock” stove from early 1900A? s, and it looks great! It took me about woodstoves, in general, and I began to research many of the vintage stoves. I’ve listed the most popular models. Get a cup of tea, feet up and read on!
Victorian Ovens â?? These stoves date from the late 1800A? S. They are usually made of cast iron and adorned with nickel. This early focus meet all your cooking needs.
Country Stoves â?? This herd is usually around the current early 1900A? S. It is very similar to the Victorian hearth, but more work has been in the nickel highlights and the clean, fresh casting.
Retro stoves â?? This special ovens are simply updated versions of the above. In the 1930â? S, when these stoves were immensely popular, seemed to the kitchen to be the central point in oneâ?? S home. These ovens were an integral part of the â?? Modern “kitchen.
Cylinder Stoves â?? These ovens are probably the most recognizable of the antique stoves. They were for their extraordinary ability to heat a house renowned, with only very little space.
Potbelly stoves â?? Early American Photography rich with images of the small oven. These stoves were found in railway stations, saloons, brothels, and many other historical settings on the Western frontier.
Parlour Stoves â?? Back in the Victorian era, these beautiful stoves were a focal point in the traditional taverns. At the height of their popularity, artisans decorated with various designs such as cherubs, mythological figures and floral patterns.
Franklin stove â?? This furnace is pure Americana. It was designed by Benjamin Franklin and early American inventor, craftsman, and President. All wood stoves for heating owe their heritage to Benjamin Franklin used, and its efficient design.
