Spare parts for ceiling fan?
The thread has just gone on the lamp socket in my ceiling fan, so that the lamp is not logged screw this part be replaced? Done a Google search, but can not possibly find a light bulb was intact, shone a torch in the IT and the threads are damaged definitely.

Are you sure the base of a bulb didn’t break off inside the socket? I have installed and removed dozens of ceiling fans and have never seen the threads of a socket get stripped as you have described. If you have a base stuck in it, use a pair of needle nosed pliers. Insert them into the base and open them up . The pressure inside the base will allow you to unscrew it. ( Do I really need to tell you to have the power off first?). Otherwise you’ll have to replace the entire light kit. They are usually between $15 and $20 and can be purchased at any store that sells ceiling fans.
