Slate in and of itself doesn’t have a “style”. It’s a material that has been used for centuries. Deciding on a light fixture should have more to do with the architecture of your home and the look you’re trying to achieve. Have you considered an Arts & Crafts style fixture? Again, without knowing anything about the architectural elements of your house it’s difficult to offer specific advise, but the Arts & Crafts movement with it’s emphasis on earth tones tends to look wonderful with slate. Also, Mission style fixtures would look terrific.
